You can not defund the police or else it would be disastrous.  If the police were to be defunded, there is no way that order would be kept.  Crime rates would increase all across the country and that is just not good.

I think we should change to the metric system because it would be easier for everyone.  It would be easier to move out of the United States because you know the measurements, and when you travel to different countries, it would also be easier to understand road signs.  The only problem is that if we just switch to the metric system, people would be at a disadvantage because all the road signs would change.  Maybe integrating the system slowly is the best idea.

I agree with you.  The reason I am saying they should get paid by the NCAA is that right now they can not make any money from brand deals and sponsorships.  I do not see a reason why athletes should not get sponsored.

All cases of voter fraud are isolated and dealt with quickly.

The people who facilitated voter fraud in New Jersey were caught.  The postal worker in Texas was dumping campaign fliers, not ballots.  I am in no way condoning these actions.  If she was dumping ballots, people would have complained that they did not get their ballots and officials would have found out.  With any expansion of mail-in voting, there should be extra precautions and regulations put in place so voter fraud does not happen.  Also, voter fraud on a national scale would be much harder than a local election.

When Wisconsin held their primary during the pandemic it was a disaster.

Due to safety concerns, there was a massive reduction in polling sites in big cities.  Milwaukee's 180 polling cites were reduced to just 5.  This resulted in massive lines.  This was just a primary, the general election will have much higher turnout in states with way more people.  An easy solution to this is to have mail-in ballots.

Yes, History is Objective

Yes I agree history should be objective, which is exactly why Confederate statues and all other memorabilia should be taken down and placed in a museum. There are better ways of actively recognizing our history than "honoring" those who have tried to subvert the very ideals of this nation. Does one see statues of Nazi leaders when visiting Germany? Statues should be erected of people that have contributed to the greatness of this nation, not those who waged war against and sought to destroy it. Confederate memorabilia and statues should be displayed in a museum so people can reflect upon the past of the country in an objective manner.

Removing statues will not stop reminding us of the confederacy.

We hear about the confederacy everywhere and I do not think that removing these statues will make us not remember that time of oppression and hate.
